Job Description

The Project Manager at Hogarth is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering digital projects, ensuring they meet objectives, budgets, deadlines, and quality standards. This role involves providing strategic expertise, collaborating with cross-functional teams internally and offshore, and acting as a key internal and client-facing expert. They manage local development and QA teams, report progress, anticipate risks, and optimize internal workflows for productivity, covering project execution from scope change to tracking and documentation.
Must Have:
  • Be an internal source of expertise in Digital project management.
  • Experience running projects in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Manage a team of developers and QA executives locally.
  • Report project progress and anticipate risks.
  • Establish project governance contact points with client service offices.
  • Manage and optimise internal workflow.
  • Project execution, including scope change, briefing, burn rate, and progress tracking.
  • Project kick-off and closure documentation.
  • Experience in reading and understanding technical and functional specifications.
  • Over 5 years of project management experience in delivering web/mobile application, and CMS-based website projects.
  • Experience working in a decoupled environment and collaborating effectively with other third-party agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of Content Management and CRM systems (Drupal ideal).
  • Software expertise: JIRA, Confluence, Office 365, Smartsheets, MS Project.
  • Experience in delivering large master and localization website projects.
  • Experience in using a content management system for content management/content loading.
  • Passion for and understanding of internet technologies.
  • Management of globally distributed project delivery teams.
  • Understanding of basic Quality Assurance standards and methodologies.
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines and standards.

What does a Project Manager do at Hogarth?

The Project Manager is responsible for both planning, managing and delivering projects; and providing strategic expertise across digital initiatives – ensuring all meet objectives, budgets, deadlines, quality standards and are ultimately optimised for success. The role is both internal and client-facing, and implementing projects will involve collaborating with teams across various disciplines (creative, technology, moving image) located both in-house and offshore.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an internal source of expertise in the Digital project management field and respond swiftly and concisely to any questions or queries.
  • Experience running projects in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Emphasis on best practice project management techniques.
  • Manage a team of developers and QA executives locally to deliver against a project plan and budget.
  • Report project progress and anticipate risks.
  • Establish project governance contact points with the client service offices, such as those in London or New York.
  • Regularly update Project Managers in client-service offices on project progress.
  • Manage and optimise internal workflow to ensure/increase productivity.
  • Project execution, including scope change, briefing, burn rate, and progress tracking.
  • Project kick-off and closure documentation.
  • Experience in reading and understanding technical and functional specifications.
  • Support and mentor team members, where needed.
  • Attend internal meetings as a representative of the Digital production team as and when required.
  • Represent Hogarth to the client and other third-party partners.

Requirements:

  • Having over 5 years of project management experience in delivering web/mobile application, and CMS-based website projects.
  • Experience working in a decoupled environment and collaborating effectively with other third-party agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of Content Management and CRM systems (experience with Drupal would be ideal).
  • Software expertise - JIRA, Confluence, Office 365, Smartsheets, MS Project.
  • Experience in delivering large master and localization website projects.
  • Experience in using a content management system for content management/content loading.
  • Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is a must.
  • Management of globally distributed project delivery teams.
  • Understanding of basic Quality Assurance standards and methodologies.
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines and standards.

This is a fixed-term employment of 3-4 months.
