Papegames is seeking a 3D Scene Modeler with expertise in UE Realistic R&D. The role involves proficient 3D production and engine-related work, taking responsibility for various production styles, and collaborating closely with planning, design, and technology teams. Responsibilities include creating 3D character models, object resources, textures, and materials based on game settings, ensuring artistic quality, and optimizing workflows. Candidates should have a strong art background, excellent modeling and drawing skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software like 3dmax/Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. Experience with Unreal Engine and next-gen game development is highly valued.
Must have:
  • Proficient in 3D production and engine-related work.
  • Able to handle various production styles.
  • Maintain close cooperation with planning, design, and technology departments.
  • Produce 3D character models, object resources, textures, and materials based on game settings.
  • Understand game art style and quality, ensure artistic effects.
  • Strong art background, college (full-time) degree or above.
  • Proficient modeling skills, solid drawing techniques, and good color sense.
  • Proficient in 3dmax/Maya, Zbrush/Mudbox, Substance Designer/Painter, Quixel suit, Marvelous Designer, Photoshop.
  • Rich experience in developing next-gen games.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills.
  • Strong team awareness.
Good to have:
  • Certain game development experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Keen sense for new technologies and strong learning ability.
  • Passionate about game development, proactive in work.

3. Needs to maintain close cooperation and communication with planning, design, technology, and other related departments to improve the artistic quality of projects and optimize existing workflows.

4. According to game settings, understand original art intentions, produce 3D character models and object resources, texture painting, and material production.

5. Understand the game's art style and quality follow-up, cooperate throughout the entire process to achieve the product's artistic effects.

6. High sensitivity and awareness of R&D processes and collaboration.

Job Requirements

1. Strong art background, college (full-time) degree or above.

2. Proficient modeling skills, solid drawing techniques, and good color sense.

3. Proficient in operating and mastering 3dmax/Maya, Zbrush/Mudbox, Substance Designer/Painter, Quixel suit, Marvelous Designer, Photoshop, and other related production software.

4. Certain game development experience with Unreal Engine is preferred.

5. Rich experience in developing next-gen games.

6. Strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills, strong team awareness, keen sense for new technologies, and strong learning ability.

7. Passionate about game development, proactive in work.
