Key Responsibilities:
This role will directly coordinate with local and overseas internal teams, shipper and carriers to do the 4PL end-to-end Export specific processes namely:
Complete booking process, complying with SLAs and global process design (e.g., carrier allocation, draft bill of lading, final BL sending)
Conduct Vessel reconciliation and manifest process as per process design
Facilitate completion of documentation and invoicing process.
Support with proactive activities that facilitate documentation and cargo release
Work in close coordination with Area Partners on needed follow up to ensure smooth delivery of cargo to the customer as per agreed contract terms.
Case Management - ensure that the exceptions or concerns are being handled within the service level agreement as defined for the specific communication channel.
Propose and support initiatives for continuous improvement of Customer Service processes.
Support with proactive activities that facilitate smooth cargo readiness and delivery order to ensure high levels of customer experience and avoid additional costs
Work in close coordination with Area Partners on needed follow up to ensure smooth delivery of cargo to the customer as per agreed contract terms.
Monitor shipping trackers and ensure accuracy of details.
Creates a daily booking summary report.
Skills & Competencies:
Passion to drive closures & high-level customer service orientation – Customer Centricity.
Excellent in both oral and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently for coordination with stakeholders.
Demonstrates strong communication capabilities in an international environment.
Able to work with different cultures and people, including phone calls.
Strong time management to complete tasks on time
Keen to details; a proactive attitude to foresee irregularities and propose alternative solutions.
Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines.
Preferred Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree of any course.
Work Experience:
Has in-depth working experience in shipping, forwarding, supply chain operations.
Minimum of 2 years working experience in Shipping & Logistics industry.
Experience in coordinating with shippers, warehouse, carriers and end customers.
Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines when required.
Willing to work in morning and mid-shift schedule.
Functional & Technical Competency:
Proficient in Transportation Management Systems and Cargo planning.
Advanced skills in MS Excel; with experience in reporting thru MS Excel.
