Job Description

The Account Executive will join our growing team and will help to identify potential client opportunities and generate new business. In this role, you will nurture and grow our relationship with customers by owning accounts and delivering exceptional performance and service. This remote position requires you to be located in Singapore, working closely with the revenue team to ensure pipeline generation and spearhead business growth. You will manage sales pipelines, build strategic relationships, serve as a key client contact, and present to executive-level customers.

Must Have:
  • Identify potential client opportunities and generate new business.
  • Nurture and grow customer relationships by owning accounts.
  • Deliver exceptional performance and service to clients.

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline and accurate forecasts using CRM.
  • Build multi-threaded strategic relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Serve as key client contact, coordinating pre & post-sale support.
  • Stay informed on competition, competitive issues, and products.
  • Develop and present executive-level presentations to customers.
  • Possess at least 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in Enterprise and DevOps.
  • Demonstrate software sales experience, direct and through partners.
  • Understand modern software development lifecycle and key technologies.
  • Track record of quota attainment and strong business development.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC, SalesForce, and storytelling techniques.

The revenue team at Octopus Deploy To help our teams work together effectively, this remote position requires you to be located in Singapore.

What You'll Do

  • Working closely with the broader team to ensure pipeline generation
  • Spearhead our business growth by leveraging a diverse range of tools and strategies to actively prospect and cultivate new business pipelines
  • Developing and managing sales pipeline & accurate forecast through the CRM system.
  • Building multi-threaded strategic relationships within assigned accounts
  • Serving as key client contact for customers and coordinating resources to support pre & post-sale experience, professional services, and technical account team
  • Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products.
  • Developing and presenting executive-level presentations to new and existing customers.

  • Know the local industry and can demonstrate software sales experience, both directly and through partner ecosystem.
  • Understand modern software development lifecycle, phases and key technologies.
  • Have experience managing both existing and new customers.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and partners.
  • Can demonstrate a track record of quota attainment.
  • Have a strong business development background and experience in opening new logos.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC, SalesForce, and storytelling techniques to solve customer problems.

The compensation for this role is-

Level 3 (Enterprise Growth AE): $149,000 SGD-$176,000 SGD annual + variable & stock options
