Job Description

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is a global leader in metal recycling. This full-time Account Executive role in the Front Load and Waste division focuses on driving sales revenue through new client acquisition and strengthening relationships. Responsibilities include managing the complete sales process, building a book of business, and collaborating with the account management team. The ideal candidate has B2B sales experience, strong communication skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on creating a greener, more sustainable future.
Must have:
  • Driving sales revenue through new client acquisition by managing the complete sales process
  • Strengthening client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings
  • Building and managing a book of business through outbound prospecting as well as inbound opportunities
  • Effectively managing an account set, keeping detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities
  • Enabling successful roll-outs of AIM services to customer employees
  • Collaborating closely with account management team to support existing customers and the renewal process
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high-energy
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Results-driven mentality, with a propensity for speed and action
  • Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented
  • B2B sales experience, solid sales forecasting abilities, and revenue achievement
  • Successful history of new business sales and inbound and outbound prospecting
  • Willingness to travel to different client sites

Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy, driven individual with experience in a value-driven sales approach to join our Front Load and Waste division. Ideal candidates should possess strong B2B sales and account management experience and a solid track record. This critical function is responsible for acquiring new and driving a high volume of sales by managing the complete sales process and uncover new ways to make AIM a continued industry leader.

What you're responsible for:

  • Driving sales revenue through new client acquisition by managing the complete sales process
  • Strengthening client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings
  • Building and managing a book of business through outbound prospecting as well as inbound opportunities
  • Being organized - effectively managing an account set, keeping detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities
  • Enabling successful roll-outs of AIM services to customer employees, including sharing and developing relevant documentation, brainstorming ideas, and attending launches and sites visits
  • Collaborating closely with account management team to support existing customers and the renewal process
