Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on e-commerce clients in the Asia region, requiring fluency in English and Mandarin. Responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, understanding business challenges and marketing goals, achieving growth targets by presenting Google advertising solutions, and developing data-driven recommendations. The role requires proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a deep understanding of Google's advertising products to effectively meet client objectives. Success involves planning and achieving business growth targets and presenting solutions to meet client marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, or digital marketing.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in digital advertising/sales
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieve business growth targets
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience with Google Ads, Display & Video 360, etc.
  • Customer-facing consulting experience

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in an organization.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Experience in customer-facing consulting or business.
  • Experience optimizing and troubleshooting products or services.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Display and Video 360, Search Ads 360, Youtube or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth targets, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build a knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
