Scope:
- Ability to visualize solution and translate customer or PMG business requirements into functional design solution.
- Ability to work with more than one scrum team to accomplish delivery targets with respect to feature completeness and quality aspects
- Ability to make tactical decisions about product direction and be able to contribute to strategic decisions
- Ability to work with members from other departments like customer support and sales
- Ability to define and take accountability of definition of done for a feature

What you’ll do:
- Functional Architect acts as domain expert and advocate for best business practices for the product development team and provides functional thought leadership to QA engineers, testers and junior BAs.
- Has comprehensive understanding of the application domain, of customer and user needs, of our existing product suite and of the competitive landscape, and uses this foundation to contribute to the product vision for new features and products.
- Works on ensuring the functional correctness and business application of enhancements to the product during the development planning and execution phases.
- Decomposes the high-level requirements from PMG to individual feature requirements and use cases for PD.
- Focuses on improving the end user experience through reviewing test plans and product documentation, and provides the end user perspective to product development associates.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders in resolving critical customer issues.
- Provides inputs in defect triage meetings and assists team members in troubleshooting the root causes for the complex customer issues and scenarios.
- Works with project team to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements.
- Works with all levels of Blue Yonder associates in developing functional specifications, analysis of user needs and testing.
- Participates in business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications.
- Ensures the security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property. Ensures compliance with the internal and external company policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinates project tasks on engagements
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s.Master's degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA Computer science or related specialization) and minimum 8 - 10 years of industrial or domain experience.
- Transportation domain experience is mandatory
- Possesses deep functional knowledge of a product and an understanding of the solution suite domain.
- Experience in building SaaS based application/next gen solution in Transportation domain
- Exposure to customer interaction and able to communicate on product capabilities to them.
- Handle activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Exercise judgment on methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within generally defined practices and policies.
- Mentor or guide junior team members
- Quality focused development, define stories, definition of done, story/feature sign off.
