Job Description

Role Summary

As a Sr. Enterprise Solution Architect (ESA) focused on Fleet Management within the Execution portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in designing, guiding, and ensuring the successful delivery of end-to-end fleet and transportation execution solutions for our customers.

You will act as a trusted advisor for large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives, combining deep operational expertise in fleet-based businesses with strong solution and value-oriented architecture skills. Your responsibility goes beyond solution design: you will take ownership for the brilliance of the outcome, ensuring that Fleet Management solutions are implemented in a way that delivers measurable operational, financial, and strategic value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture and functional design for enterprise-scale implementations of Fleet Management, including integration with Transportation, Warehouse, and broader Execution and Planning solutions.
  • Apply deep understanding of fleet operational use cases, including:
  • Long-distance and continuous move operations
  • Dedicated and recurring route-based fleet scenarios
  • Regional distribution networks
  • Highly dynamic first- and last-mile execution with minute-level planning precision
  • Advise customers on where and how Fleet Management technology creates value, aligning algorithms, constraints, and execution logic with real-world operational models.
  • Translate customer business models into scalable, future-proof solution concepts, considering optimisation algorithms, constraints, cost drivers, and service trade-offs.
  • Analyse current (“As-Is”) fleet, transportation, and execution architectures and define future-state (“To-Be”) designs with clear transition and value-realisation roadmaps.
  • Create and own end-to-end solution concepts, ensuring interoperability across planning, execution, and external partner ecosystems.
  • Act as a functional and architectural authority throughout the project lifecycle, guiding implementation teams to ensure solution quality and delivery excellence.
  • Support and coach project teams with best-practice guidance, design validation, and problem-solving to ensure solutions meet intended business outcomes.
  • Serve as a senior partner to largest customers, accompanying them on their supply chain transformation journey and building long-term, trust-based relationships.
  • Support sales and pre-sales activities from a functional, operational, and value-based perspective, convincingly articulating solution benefits and transformation paths.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and workshops for operational leaders, management, and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for optimisation, expansion, and incremental value creation in collaboration with customer account teams.
  • Ensure robust knowledge transfer to customer organisations, enabling sustainable operations and continuous improvement post go-live.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Development to provide field feedback, align on roadmap evolution, and stay current on new capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fleet management, transportation execution, or supply chain execution environments.
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of fleet-based operational models, including long-haul, regional, recurring, and last-mile scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of optimisation algorithms, constraints, and planning logic used in fleet and execution systems.
  • Proven experience leading or significantly influencing successful technology implementations with measurable business impact.
  • Ability to bridge operational reality and enterprise software solutions, translating business needs into scalable architectures.
  • Strong personal presence with the ability to convince, guide, and influence customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Background in IT, enterprise software, or solution architecture is helpful but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • First-hand operational experience running or managing fleet, transportation, or logistics operations.
  • Experience working across industries adopting fleet and execution solutions (e.g. retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, logistics service providers).
  • Familiarity with SaaS-based execution platforms, cloud-native architectures, and integrated supply chain ecosystems.
  • Experience in consulting, transformation, or enterprise solution architecture roles.

Work Environment

  • Role is primarily home-office based, with an official office location.
  • Readiness to travel is expected to support customers, projects, and strategic engagements.

Why – Execution & Fleet Management

  • True end-to-end execution

You will design and guide integrated execution landscapes, connecting Fleet Management with Transportation, Warehouse, Planning, and partner ecosystems—helping customers build interoperable, future-ready supply chains.

  • Practitioner-driven excellence

values real-world operational expertise, algorithmic thinking, and pragmatic problem-solving. This is a role for professionals who understand execution not just in theory, but in practice.

  • Partner to industry leaders
