Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on supporting businesses, particularly those partnering with Google. Responsibilities include building and managing client relationships, understanding their marketing objectives, and developing strategies to achieve growth using Google's advertising products. This requires proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, planning to achieve growth goals, presenting Google advertising solutions, performing data-driven analysis, and providing consultative recommendations aligned with customer goals. Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential, along with a minimum of 2 years' experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media. The role involves building compelling narratives and using storytelling for client engagement, managing a portfolio to drive growth, and working with various stakeholders to ensure project completion to high standards.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to support client relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged promoting.
  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience working with channel business, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media business context, to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business tests, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products or solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an understanding of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
