As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for the timely collection of outstanding invoices, directly contributing to a healthy cash flow. You will ensure customers meet their payment obligations efficiently and customer-friendly, while also being results-oriented. You will help prevent debtor problems by performing checks and identifying bottlenecks. The diverse debtor portfolio ensures a varied role.
Must have:
  • Responsible for timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Manage the entire B2B and B2C accounts receivable portfolio.
  • Monitor and actively follow up on overdue claims.
  • Fulfill a coordinating and controlling role for shared service financial center activities.
  • Identify and resolve process bottlenecks to optimize accounts receivable.
  • Act as contact person for customer service, back office, sales, webshop manager, and international colleagues.
  • Report and analyze accounts receivable balances.
  • Perform credit checks for new customers.
  • MBO+ work and thinking level.
  • More than 5 years of experience in B2B and B2C accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of relevant end-to-end administrative processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Excel, Outlook, Ariba, Worldline.
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, written and spoken.
Good to have:
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience collaborating with a shared service financial center.

Accounts Receivable Manager

What will you do?

As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you are responsible for the timely collection of our outstanding invoices. With your work, you make a direct contribution to a healthy cash flow. You ensure that our customers meet their payment obligations. You manage this process efficiently, customer-friendly, but also results-oriented. You also contribute to preventing debtor problems by performing checks and identifying bottlenecks. Our debtor portfolio is very diverse, which ensures a lot of variety within the position!

Your main tasks are:

  • Managing the entire accounts receivable portfolio (B2B and B2C): Together with colleagues, you are the point of contact for our customers, both by phone and email.
  • Monitoring and actively following up on overdue claims.
  • Fulfilling a coordinating and controlling role regarding activities performed in our shared service financial center.
  • Identifying bottlenecks in processes and independently, and in consultation with other department(s), resolving or preventing these bottlenecks to optimize the accounts receivable process.
  • Contact person for our customer service, back office, sales (internal), webshop manager, and international colleagues.
  • Reporting and analyzing accounts receivable balances.
  • Performing credit checks for new customers.

What do we expect from you?

  • Education and experience:
  • MBO+ work and thinking level.
  • More than 5 years of experience in accounts receivable in both a B2B and B2C environment.
  • You have knowledge of relevant end-to-end administrative processes.
  • Experience with ERP system (SAP is a plus), Excel, Outlook, invoice portals (Ariba), payment provider portals (Worldline).
  • You have excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
  • Experience working in an international environment and collaborating with a shared service financial center is a plus.
