Acoustic Engineer M/F

Valeo is seeking an Acoustic Engineer (M/F) for its Bobigny site, specializing in silent embedded systems, particularly for wiper systems. The role involves selecting tools, optimizing post-processing parameters, defining multiphysical data for improvement recommendations, ensuring laboratory and equipment operational readiness, reporting progress, and proposing new methodologies for testing and simulation standards. The ideal candidate has a background in Acoustics and Vibrations, Mechanics, or General Engineering with initial experience in acoustic and vibratory tests.

Must Have

• Choose tools and optimize post-processing parameters for technical questions
• Contribute to defining necessary multiphysical data (T°, electromagnetism, friction, aerodynamics, etc.)
• Provide improvement recommendations
• Ensure laboratory and equipment are fully operational
• Ensure safety, proper functioning, report risks and progress
• Provide test reports, presentations, and participate in meetings
• Propose and develop new methodologies and improve standards

To support us in creating silent embedded systems, we are recruiting an Acoustic Test & Validation Engineer (M/F) dedicated to wiper systems.

Your Missions:

• Choose tools and optimize post-processing parameters to answer a technical question;
• Contribute to defining the necessary multiphysical data (T°, electromagnetism, friction, aerodynamics, etc.) in order to provide improvement recommendations;
• Ensure the monitoring of the laboratory and equipment so that they are fully operational at all times;
• Ensure safety, proper functioning, report risks, report progress in accordance with the development plan;
• Provide test reports, presentations and participate in internal meetings and meetings with car manufacturers
• Propose and develop new methodologies and improve standards: test definitions, test conditions, adapted sensors, adapted measurement analysis, adapted post-processing and visualization, simulation standards

About you:

With a background in Acoustics and Vibrations, Mechanics or General Engineering, you have initial experience in acoustic and vibratory tests.

Curious, you enjoy investigating, analyzing and finding solutions, and you are particularly motivated by experimental practice.
