Job Description

Join the BRS - Business Recovery Services team to support companies, banks, and investors facing financial difficulties. You will be involved in identifying, negotiating, and implementing solutions for crisis management and business relaunch. The role includes monitoring cash, analyzing company situations, defining new business models, and preparing business plans and restructuring programs. You will also assist clients with distressed M&A and large-scale administrative procedures.
Must Have:
  • Monitor and manage cash in emergency situations
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of company situations and crisis causes
  • Define new business models and processes
  • Perform cognitive analysis of the company/group to identify relevant assets
  • Analyze balance sheets and historical cash flows to determine the best crisis recovery strategy
  • Analyze liabilities and determine legal privilege degrees
  • Monitor client business through balance sheet analysis and KPI identification
  • Elaborate business plans and business modeling
  • Prepare reports on causes of insolvency
  • Prepare disposal and restructuring programs
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in Financial Consulting or professional practices, preferably in restructuring/corporate turnaround
  • Master's Degree in Economics
  • Good knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, and preparing economic-financial plans in Excel
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (from study or work abroad)
  • Excellent relational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for work in Italy or abroad
  • Good command of the Office package

Job Description & Summary

Within the BRS - Business Recovery Services team, you will support companies, banks, and investors in situations of financial difficulty or crisis, and you will be involved in identifying, negotiating, and implementing solutions to manage the crisis process and business relaunch.

The team also supports clients in preventive arrangement and PRO procedures, assists banks and investors in distressed M&A operations, and helps professionals in large-scale procedures (e.g., extraordinary administrations).

Specifically, you will deal with:

  • Monitoring and cash management in emergency situations;
  • In-depth analysis of the company situation and the causes of the crisis;
  • Definition of the new business model and new processes;
  • Cognitive analysis of the company and/or group with identification of the most relevant assets;
  • Balance sheet analysis and historical cash flow analysis to identify the best strategy to overcome the crisis;
  • Liability analysis and determination of legal privilege degrees;
  • Monitoring client business through balance sheet analysis and identification of key performance indicators;
  • Preparation of business plans and business modeling;
  • Preparation of the report on the causes of insolvency;
  • Preparation of disposal and restructuring programs.

Your unique strengths

  • You have gained 1 to 5 years of experience in Financial Consulting firms or professional practices, preferably focused on restructuring / corporate turnaround;
  • You have a Master's Degree in Economics;
  • You have a good knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, and preparation of economic-financial plans in Excel;
  • You speak and write English fluently thanks to study or work experiences abroad;
  • You have excellent relational and communication skills;
  • Traveling for work in Italy or abroad is a motivating factor for you;
  • You have a good command of the Office package.
