Job Description

Onward Search is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Manager for a remote, part-time (15 hours/week), 3-month contract role. This position supports a mission-oriented retail brand, blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The manager will focus on building meaningful partnerships to drive both revenue and brand storytelling, developing strategic roadmaps, recruiting and managing affiliate partners, and optimizing program performance.
Must Have:
  • Develop strategic roadmap for the affiliate marketing channel
  • Identify and recruit high-quality affiliate partners
  • Create and manage an engaging affiliate onboarding experience
  • Serve as the main liaison between the brand and its affiliate network
  • Negotiate and optimize affiliate terms, commissions, and incentive structures
  • 2+ years of experience managing affiliate marketing programs
  • 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns (email, paid social, paid search, display, or OTT)
  • Hands-on experience with Impact (affiliate marketing technology)
  • Expertise in commission and bonus models that drive ROI and partner engagement
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and UTM tracking

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic roadmap for the affiliate marketing channel, aligning the program’s vision with broader organizational goals and values.
  • Identify and recruit high-quality affiliate partners who share similar audiences and brand ethos.
  • Create and manage an engaging affiliate onboarding experience to ensure partners are set up for success.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the brand and its affiliate network—supporting publisher recruitment, relationship management, partner communications, and product activations.
  • Negotiate and optimize affiliate terms, commissions, and incentive structures to drive performance and support key marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience managing affiliate marketing programs, either in-house or through an agency.
  • 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns (email, paid social, paid search, display, or OTT).
  • Hands-on experience with Impact (affiliate marketing technology), including reporting, partner management, deal placements, and commission adjustments.
  • Expertise in commission and bonus models that drive ROI and partner engagement.
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and UTM tracking for performance measurement.
