Job Description

As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will lead multiple squads, driving agile adoption and implementation, and ensuring smooth business operations. You will foster a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement, guiding complex global teams to deliver high-quality products and services efficiently and innovatively.
Must have:

  • Serve as an associate within the Cloud & Productivity Engineering function.
  • Facilitate the cross-functional planning process and associated reporting.
  • Map value streams and optimise for flow.
  • Manage relationships and work cross-functionally across the Organisation.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to understand priorities and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Play an active role in the transformation of the business to an aligned Product Centric Agile Operating Model.
  • Continuously assess and improve agile processes, tools, and practices.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure team productivity, product quality, and delivery performance.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technology solutions in an Agile way.
  • Experience working in a software engineering function.
  • Previous experience of Cloud or DevOps practices.
  • Qualifications in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Advanced Power BI, workflow management automation.
  • Ability to influence senior business partners with a high degree of professional maturity and resilience.
  • Experience of working within a Product centric Agile operating model and scaling frameworks.
  • Experience of mapping value streams and optimising for flow.
  • Proven track record in coaching and mentoring individual staff members agile teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using agile collaboration and project management tools.
  • Ability to drive change and foster an agile culture within the organization.

Role Description:

As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple squads to drive the adoption and implementation of agile practices, and to facilitate the smooth operational running of our business. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in agile methodologies and your strong leadership skills will enable you to guide complex global teams and collaborators in delivering high-quality products and services while promoting efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an associate within the Cloud & Productivity Engineering function, responsible for enabling LSEG to be successful with Cloud & DevOps technologies
  • Facilitate the cross functional planning process and associated reporting
  • Map value streams and optimise for flow, managing relationships and work cross functionally across the Organisation
  • Work closely with Product Owners to understand priorities and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Play an active role in the transformation of the business to an aligned Product Centric Agile Operating Model
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within and across teams.
  • Continuously assess and improve agile processes, tools, and practices to enhance team performance and product quality.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure team productivity, product quality, and delivery performance.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are well-integrated into the agile framework.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technology solutions in an Agile way, leading cross functional planning events and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience working in a software engineering function
  • Previous experience of Cloud or DevOps practices
  • Qualifications in Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Advanced Power BI, workflow management automation distilling complex topics into clear and engaging visuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to influence senior business partners with a high degree of professional maturity and resilience
  • Experience of working within a Product centric Agile operating model and scaling frameworks, getting multiple teams working together to deliver value
  • Experience of mapping value streams and optimising for flow
  • Proven track record in coaching and mentoring individual staff members agile teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.
