Who are we looking for?

AI Engineer (Freelance / Contract) – Build an Intelligent Parenting Coach Chatbot

Duration: 8–10 weeks (extendable)

Engagement: Contract / Freelance

Compensation: Milestone-based (as per experience and delivery)

We’re creating a next-generation parenting platform designed for parents of kids aged 2–6 years, combining AI, gamification, and real-world insights to make parenting simpler, smarter, and more joyful. You’ll architect a hybrid AI system that uses internal content first and external APIs (like OpenAI) as fallback — ensuring personalization, scalability, and cost efficiency.

You’ll work directly with the founding and product teams to bring this smart, kind, and contextual parenting coach to life.

Job Responsibilities:

Phase 1: System Setup & Data Integration (Weeks 1–3)

• Design a hybrid AI architecture (internal DB + external API fallback).
• Connect Firebase / PostgreSQL database to the AI layer.
• Build embedding + vector search pipeline for internal parenting data.
• Implement a caching layer to reuse frequent responses and reduce costs.

Phase 2: Chatbot + Moderation PoC (Weeks 4–6)

• Build our chatbot with a friendly, structured, and on-brand tone.
• Integrate content moderation (detect spam, offensive, or irrelevant posts).
• Enable contextual responses using internal parenting data.

Phase 3: Personalization + Cost Optimization (Weeks 7–10)

• Create user profiling logic (based on clicks, saves, likes, and engagement).
• Generate personalized parenting tips and content.
• Optimize prompts and caching to achieve average cost < ₹0.50 per AI call.
• Deliver documentation and cost benchmarks for internal handoff.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech or MCA with at least 5-6 years of total work experience

Experience Requirements:

Required:

• LLM Tools: OpenAI API, LangChain, LlamaIndex (or similar)
• Languages: Python / Node.js
• Databases: Firebase / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
• Vector Search: Pinecone, FAISS, or Weaviate
• Experience with text classification, moderation, and spam filtering
• Expertise in prompt design, token optimization, and caching
• Integration via REST APIs / Firebase functions / Cloud functions

Additional Requirements:

• Built chatbots with defined tone or brand personality
• Experience in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems
• Background in edtech, parenting, or wellness products
• Familiarity with recommendation or personalization logic
