Job Summary:
This role is responsible for researching and developing innovative on-device agentic AI systems that deliver personalized services. Agentic AI naturally follows a heterogeneous architecture, designed to handle tasks of varying complexity across different modalities. You will contribute to building on-device small language and multimodal models tailored for agentic AI, enabling intelligent assistance with a deep understanding of user context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop algorithms that understand user behaviors and multimodal contextual signals to enable intelligent, personalized, and context-aware assistance.
- Research and develop advanced multimodal and small language models tailored for on-device deployment, ensuring efficiency, low latency, and contextual relevance.
- Design and implement heterogeneous system architectures for on-device agentic AI, supporting intelligent memory, continual learning, and personalization.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- Mandatory experience with modern machine learning frameworks, including PyTorch..
- Mandatory experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Language Models, Multimodal Language Models, or Multimodal Retrieval.
- Experience with on-device AI and lightweight model development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A strong publication record in major conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, and COLM.
- Strong software development skills
- Experience in software development for mobile or embedded environments
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
