CCH Tagetik, part of Wolters Kluwer's Corporate Performance & ESG Division, is seeking a visionary AI Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of AI capabilities within their software platform. The role involves collaborating with product leaders and engineering teams in an Agile environment to define scalable, modular, and intelligent AI solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency for complex enterprise environments. Responsibilities include contributing to product architecture evolution by exploring AI and GenAI trends, defining principles for AI components, guiding the adoption of AI paradigms, championing best practices, and supporting engineering teams.
Must have:
  • Proven experience as a Software Architect or Senior Software Engineer in AI/ML projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies (ML, NLP, GenAI).
  • Experience designing modular, scalable AI architectures.
  • Solid background in distributed systems design.
  • Proficiency with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in Agile teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and communication.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Java and frameworks (e.g., Spring).
  • Knowledge of AI lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices for AI.

Are you passionate about shaping the future of Corporate Performance Management with advanced AI technologies?

At CCH Tagetik, part of Wolters Kluwer's Corporate Performance & ESG Division, we’re seeking a visionary AI Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of AI capabilities within our software platform.

You will collaborate with product leaders and engineering teams working in an Agile environment to define scalable, modular, and intelligent AI solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency across complex enterprise environments.

Our core software engineering department is based in Lucca where all the teams are working closely together in developing our products for our major industries such as banking, insurance, automotive and food and beverage. Every team consists of a QA engineer and 5/6 software engineers. We strongly believe in the Agile way of working and the Scrum methodology has really been embedded in our daily work.

What You'll Do:

  • Actively contribute to the product architecture evolution, following industry trends, identifying options and suggesting the right choices to cascade them into the product roadmap. Specifically, explore trends and opportunities offered by AI and GenAI for improving both the Software capabilities and the Software Development Life Cycle. 

  • Collaborate with the Product Management, the CTO, and other key stakeholders to define and explain the vision of the Architecture of the product area. 

  • Define principles for modular and scalable AI components, enabling seamless integration and continuous evolution of intelligent functionalities.

  • Guide the adoption of modern AI paradigms, including agent-based design and model orchestration, to create adaptive and autonomous systems.

  • Champion best practices in software architecture, ensuring robustness, security, and high performance of AI-driven modules.

  • Support engineering teams through technical guidance and code reviews to maintain excellence and quality.

  • Contribute to identifying emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to AI and data exchange protocols for complex systems interoperability.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Software Architect or Senior Software Engineer in AI/ML-focused projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Python and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies including machine learning, NLP, generative AI.

  • Experience in designing modular, scalable architectures that support composable AI components and agent-like systems.

  • Solid background in distributed systems design emphasizing scalability, reliability, and security.

  • Proficiency with cloud-native architectures and services (e.g. AWS, Azure).

  • Experience working in Agile teams and applying Agile methodologies effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

  • Fluency both in Italian and English.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring).

  • Knowledge of AI lifecycle management and orchestration tools.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices for AI and software delivery.
