Job Summary

The AI Software Solutions Engineer works with internal and external teams to deliver optimized AI solutions using Intel products, aiming to drive product adoption. This role involves researching technical trends, prototyping solutions, and developing AI software, including open-source libraries and models. Key responsibilities include optimizing AI model performance through expertise in AI frameworks, algorithms, models, and hardware, as well as partnering with development teams to accelerate and optimize future AI and HPC products.

Must Have

  • Deliver optimized AI solutions using Intel products
  • Prototype solutions and develop AI software including open source libraries and models
  • Optimize performance of AI models through deep knowledge of AI frameworks, algorithms, models, and hardware
  • Research, develop, and adjust AI models, code, parameters, and/or quantization to enhance performance
  • Partner with Intel software and hardware product development teams to accelerate and optimize future products
  • Master degree of Computer Science or related field
  • Good programming skills in Python and C++
  • Experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow
  • Good knowledge of Computer architecture, Compiler, OS, and Computer Network

Good to Have

  • Optimization experience on PyTorch or TensorFlow operator
  • Familiarity with inference serving frameworks like vLLM or SGLang
  • Strong technical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Good communication skills

Job Description:

Works with internal engineering teams and external partners, customers, and ISVs to deliver optimized AI solutions using Intel products with the goal of driving adoption of Intel products. Researches technical trends and utilizes deep domain and market segment expertise to prototype solutions and develop AI software including open source libraries and models. Optimizes performance of AI models through deep knowledge and expertise of AI frameworks, algorithms, models, and related hardware. Researches, develops, and adjusts new or existing AI models, code, parameters, and/or quantization to address issues and modify operations to enhance performance. Partners with AI algorithm and framework engineers as needed to optimize endtoend AI models to Intel hardware features. Serves as a trusted technical advisor and provides technical enabling. Partners with Intel software and hardware product development teams to accelerate and optimize future products in AI and HPC domains by leading application preenabling and product hardening. Delivers competitive and differentiated benchmark collateral and identify and drive key workloads into product requirements and architect innovative projection methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master degree of Computer Science (or related BS/MS degree in Computer field, like Software Engineering or Machine Learning)
  • Good programing skill at one of the following languages: Python and C++.
  • Experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, working on CPU / GPU / AI accelerators for ML/DL.
  • Good knowledge on Computer architecture, Compiler, OS and Computer Network.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have the optimization experience on Pytorch or TensorFlow operator
  • Familiar with inference serving framework, such as vLLM or SGLang
  • Strong technical skill, problem solving skill and debugging skill.
  • Good communication skill
