The AI Research Division seeks an Applied DL Research Engineer to develop deep learning technologies for game production efficiency and user-interactive agents, focusing on Multi-modal LLM, Voice Synthesis, Vision & Animation models, and data quality improvement.

Must Have

• Eligible to join as a professional research personnel in '25 (Master's degree or higher, or completion of integrated master's/doctoral program)
• Master's/Ph.D. in deep learning related field or equivalent research experience
• Ability to lead research, quickly understand deep learning papers, and design experiments
• Development or project experience related to latest deep learning models such as Transformer, Diffusion
• Ability to quickly adapt to new domains
• Smooth work communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience writing papers for top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, etc.) or top-tier journals in related fields
• Excellent research achievements related to Multi-modal LLM, Data-centric AI, Agentic AI, Time-series analysis, STT/TTS
• Experience with large-scale data improvement pipelines for Multi-modal LLM training

[AI Research Division Vision]

KRAFTON AI Research Division collaborates with various internal and external fields to provide AI solutions for diverse problems, and develops our own services through independent deep learning technology research. The direction is broadly twofold:

• Increase game production efficiency and universality through the development of deep learning technologies that can assist in game production.
• Develop CPC/LLM Agents that can play games with users.

[AI Research R&D]

In the AI Research Division, we are researching and developing deep learning models such as Multi-modal Language Model, Voice Synthesis, Vision & Animation necessary for the above vision. In addition, we are conducting research on improving data quality, which is the most important source for effectively training these models, as a key task.

[Culture Fit]

Members of the AI Research Division can interact and collaborate with team members from various fields through diverse projects and propose creative ideas for various problems. An atmosphere that encourages free expression of opinions regardless of age or position is fostered. We have a team composed of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and actively support methods to overcome language barriers, such as translation and interpretation, for active communication.

[AI Applied Research Engineer]

The tasks of an AI Applied Research Engineer are as follows:

• R&D for data quality improvement and application of evaluation benchmarks for Multi-modal LLM / game agent training.
• Applied R&D to explore and improve the performance of the LLM agent framework in various games/environments.
• Real-time/High-quality speech synthesis model R&D.
• R&D for anomaly detection using tabular data.
• R&D for classification models using video data.

• Eligible to join as a professional research personnel in '25 (new enrollment) (Master's degree or higher, or completion of integrated master's/doctoral program).
• Master's/Ph.D. in a deep learning-related field or equivalent research experience.
• Ability to lead research, quickly understand deep learning papers, and design experiments.
• Development or project experience related to the latest deep learning models such as Transformer, Diffusion.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new domains.
• Smooth work communication skills.

• Experience writing papers for top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, etc.) or top-tier journals in related fields.

• Experience with large-scale data improvement pipelines for Multi-modal LLM training.
