Job Description

KRAFTON is a global game publisher known for unique and enjoyable games from its production studios. The AI Research Division focuses on developing AI solutions for various internal and external fields, and proprietary deep learning technologies. This includes enhancing game production efficiency and developing CPC/LLM agents for user interaction. This specific project involves researching and developing STT/TTS models for various game and service environments, with a focus on real-time, high-quality, and multilingual models for natural AI agents.
Good To Have:
  • Experience applying TTS/STT technology to actual services
  • Author of machine learning/AI journal/conference papers (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
  • Project experience with latest deep learning models like Transformer, diffusion model
  • Awards in domestic/international AI competitions (e.g., Kaggle)
Must Have:
  • Graduates in Computer Science/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence or equivalent capabilities
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement the latest machine learning papers
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Interest and basic knowledge in Speech Processing (STT/TTS)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Experience in machine learning and deep learning related projects

Introducing Our Team (Project)

[AI Research Division Vision]

KRAFTON AI Research Division collaborates with various internal and external fields to provide AI solutions for diverse problems, and develops our own services through proprietary deep learning technology research. The direction is largely twofold:

  • Increase game production efficiency and universality through the development of deep learning technology that can assist in game production.
  • Develop CPC/LLM Agents that can play games with users.

[Independent AI Foundation Model Project R&D]

We are researching and developing STT/TTS models that can be utilized in various game and service environments. In particular, we are focusing on developing Real-time / High-Quality models to implement natural AI agents capable of real-time interaction. The developed models are continuously being advanced and applied to various internal games and services.

Our main research goals are as follows:

  • Achieve Real-Time Latency
  • Develop STT/TTS models that can compete with Global SOTA models
  • Develop multilingual support models

[Culture Fit]

Members of the AI Research Division interact and collaborate with team members from various fields through diverse projects, proposing creative ideas for various problems. An atmosphere that encourages free expression of opinions regardless of age or position is fostered. The team is composed of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, and methods to overcome language barriers, such as interpretation and translation, are actively supported for lively communication.

Introducing the Mission We Will Accomplish Together

  • Collaborate with key internal/external stakeholders such as product teams, marketing teams, content managers, AI researchers, and external partners to solve problems.
  • Experiment with and research the latest deep learning technologies in various speech-related tasks.
  • Primarily develop the following modeling technologies based on machine learning/deep learning:
  • High quality expressive / emotional Speech Synthesis
  • Multilingual Speech Synthesis
  • On-device speech synthesis
  • On-device ASR

We want to grow with someone who has these experiences! (Required Qualifications)

  • Graduates in Computer Science/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence or equivalent capabilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement the latest machine learning papers.
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Interest and basic knowledge in Speech Processing (STT/TTS).
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Experience in machine learning and deep learning related projects.

If you have these experiences, you are the one we are looking for! (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience applying TTS/STT technology to actual services.
  • Author of machine learning/artificial intelligence related journal/conference papers (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc. top-tier conference experience preferred).
  • Project experience with the latest deep learning models such as Transformer, diffusion model.
  • Awards in domestic/international AI competitions (e.g., Kaggle).
