[Athena Div.] Korean-Japanese Translator/Interpreter (Intern)

KRAFTON identifies and publishes games worldwide that offer a uniquely enjoyable experience, crafted by global production studios known for their distinctive creativity. This team has successfully operated a mobile game with over 500 billion KRW in cumulative sales and is now preparing for a new challenge: developing a subculture mobile game. They are looking for talented colleagues to join them in creating a mobile collectible RPG game with a cheerful, light anime style and attractive content for subculture genre gamers. This project is scheduled to be spun off into a separate legal entity within 2025, requiring a transfer to the subsidiary afterward.

Must Have

• Native-level Japanese proficiency
• Ability to understand game worldview and context and perform natural translation/interpretation
• Flexible and smooth communication skills
• Responsible and proactive in assigned tasks
• No disqualification for overseas business trips

Good to Have

• Experience living in Japan
• Understanding of Japanese subculture games and IP culture
• Proficiency in English

Our team is an experienced team that has operated a mobile game with cumulative sales of over 500 billion KRW.

Currently, we are preparing for a new challenge at KRAFTON: developing a subculture mobile game,

and we are looking for talented colleagues to join us in developing a new game.

The game we are making is...

• A mobile collectible RPG game
• A cheerful and light anime-style game
• A game equipped with attractive content that subculture genre gamers can enjoy

※ This project is scheduled to be spun off into a separate legal entity within 2025, requiring a transfer to the subsidiary afterward.

Introducing the Mission You Will Undertake with Our Team

• Translation and review of Korean ↔ Japanese game-related documents
• Communication and meeting interpretation with Japanese partners
• Support for Japanese market research and business development tasks

Employment Type

• Intern
• 2 days a week, 10 AM - 7 PM, or 3 days a week, 10 AM - 3 PM
• 3 months, not eligible for conversion to regular employment
