Job Description
Apple is seeking a hands-on AI Solutions Architect with deep technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to join their Worldwide Sales organization, Data Solutions & Initiatives (DSI) team. This role focuses on driving innovation through product design, engineering, and portfolio management in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. The architect will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and implementing scalable, high-impact AI solutions, blending system architecture, rapid prototyping, and cross-functional execution. They will partner with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, translate them into scalable architectures, and ensure successful deployment. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills to translate complex AI concepts for various audiences, ensuring clear alignment and impactful delivery.
Must Have:
- Design end-to-end AI solutions with business impact
- Build prototypes to evaluate architecture and modeling approaches
- Guide architectural decisions for LLM, multimodal, and agentic frameworks
- Assess and integrate open-source tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with teams to define KPIs and strategic goals
- Stay updated on Generative AI trends and prompt engineering
- Define and advocate for best practices in model serving

- Assess and integrate open-source tools, orchestration frameworks, context management solutions, and vector databases.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to define KPIs and ensure alignment of AI initiatives with strategic goals.
- Stay on top of emerging trends in Generative AI, prompt engineering, and agent-based architectures.
- Define and advocate for best practices in model serving, integration patterns, and runtime efficiency—not just training ops.
