Job Description

As Americas Control Supervisor, you will support the organization in identifying risks, implementing actions/controls, and providing advice on policies and procedures. The role covers operations and all functional areas, involving various projects. You will also be responsible for SOX activities like documentation, validations, and quarterly certification. Daily tasks include advising on policies, coordinating SOX certification, preparing SOX documentation, participating in physical inventories, developing action plans for audit findings, reviewing processes for improvements, updating procedures, and monitoring inventory transactions.
Must have:
  • Support identifying risks and implementing actions/controls.
  • Provide advice on corporate, divisional, and regional policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and comply with requirements for quarterly SOX certification.
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation for the annual SOX program (narratives, samples, and verification).
  • Participate in the organization and execution of annual physical inventories.
  • Develop and validate action plans for findings identified by Internal Audit or any other area.
  • Conduct reviews of processes and/or risk areas to support the identification and implementation of improvements.
  • Update and/or develop robust procedures as required.
  • Monitor and follow up on key/critical inventory transactions.

YOUR ROLE

  • As Control Supervisor on our team, you will: Support the organization in identifying risks and implementing the corresponding actions and/or controls and procedures for their mitigation, as well as providing advice on policies and procedures and ensuring their proper execution. Therefore, the scope of the position is quite broad, covering operations and all functional areas; therefore, the position is regularly involved in different types of projects. The position is also responsible for various SOX activities such as documentation, validations, and quarterly certification.

In your daily job you will:

  • Provide advice regarding corporate, divisional, and regional policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and comply with the requirements for quarterly SOX certification.
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation for the annual SOX program (narratives, samples, and verification).
  • Participate in the organization and execution of annual physical inventories to ensure their proper execution.
  • Develop and validate action plans for findings identified by Internal Audit or any other area.
  • Conduct reviews of processes and/or risk areas to support the identification and implementation of improvements.
  • Update and/or develop robust procedures as required.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Experience in the Finance area (5 years minimum)
  • Bachelors degree Finance or Accounting terminated
  • English level advanced
  • Knowledge in SOX
  • MS Office
