Design and analyze analog & Mixed Signal blocks in CMOS technologies. Integrate complex Analog & Mixed Signal functions into system chips. Design analog blocks such as PGA, ADC, DAC, PLL, Clock generation and distribution. Translate specs to circuit requirements. Make intelligent design trade-offs amongst power, area, and performance. Perform circuit simulations and design circuit layouts. Participate in system level architectural design of broadband communications SoCs. Complete verification of the analog blocks in the laboratory. Support ATE, debug and production.
Typically requires an M.SC./Phd in electrical engineering with 6+ years of experience. Able to make system level judgment and associated trade-offs. Strong grasp of low noise, high linearity design. Experience in high resolution, high bandwidth AD converters, linear DACs and line driver design. Experience with transistor level design tools (Cadence Analog Artist), system level design tools (e.g. MatLab), layout and extraction tools (Cadence Virtuoso). Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $172,800
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
