Job Summary
Ubisoft is seeking an Analytics Game Team Lead to join the Canadian Analytics Team (CAT), part of Ubisoft Production Headquarters. The team's core mission is to create optimal gaming experiences by focusing on player behaviors and motivations. The Team Lead will implement best analytical practices in the Montreal/Quebec studio, promoting data usage in games. They will support production stakeholders in translating game-related concerns into actionable quantitative analyses of player behaviors, develop new techniques, and contribute to the team's knowledge and skills.
Must Have
- Design and evolve relevant and actionable KPIs for the studio
- Build statistical and predictive models to improve game performance analysis
- Standardize and harmonize KPI frameworks for consistent performance comparison
- Promote best analytical practices through knowledge sharing and community building
- Recommend improvements for studio tools, processes, and data flows
- Evaluate and guide the development of analytical talent within the organization
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Publishing, Marketing, and HR Analytics teams
- Recruit and develop a high-performing analytical team aligned with strategic objectives
- Define objectives, mobilize the team, and supervise daily operations
- Coach team members and monitor their performance for continuous growth
- Good knowledge of statistical approaches and methods (sampling, Machine Learning, A/B testing)
- Proficiency in analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SQL)
- Good understanding of IT concepts (data management, software development)
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional departments
- Ability to drive change management for cross-functional projects

They will also adopt an exploratory approach to develop techniques addressing new challenges and inspiring innovative solutions. Finally, they will contribute to the development of the team's knowledge and skills on cross-functional topics and participate in the growth of Ubisoft's analytical community.
Job Description
