Job Summary
As an Animation Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the animation department, expediting high-quality and photo-realistic character, creature, and object animations. Key responsibilities include partnering with studio leadership to deliver the highest quality animation, working with animators and cross-department supervisors to identify and solve technical and artistic problems, and liaising with other production team members to ensure production deadlines are met. The role requires a minimum of eight years of visual effects production and leadership experience for live-action feature films, proven technical and leadership capabilities, and experience in leading, mentoring, and training large teams. Strong organizational skills, expert knowledge of Maya, and a good sense of animation principles are essential.

Qualifications
- Minimum eight (8) years of visual effects production and leadership experience for live action feature films
- Proven technical and leadership capabilities
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and training large teams
- Exceptional organizational skills; understands how to prioritize tasks, assignments with team skills
- Expert knowledge of Maya
- Knowledge of Nuke and 3ds Max (a plus)
- Must have a strong sense of animation: acting, staging, posing, weight, timing, storytelling, and staying on model
- Strong understanding of the language of the camera; framing, perspective, lenses, coverage, continuity, camera movement, blocking, etc.
- Solid camera animation work (laying out shots, staging, using film cameras or on-set experience)
- A good attitude and ability to smoothly change and adapt with the project
- Knowledge of human and animal anatomy as well as life drawing skills is desirable
- Ability to debug technical problems and follow up with the team to ensure animation is implemented

자격
- 최소 8년 이상의 실사 장편 영화 작업, VFX 프로덕션, 팀장 경력 보유자
- 높은 기술력과 리더십 역량이 뛰어나신 분
- 팀을 이끌어 멘토링하고 교육을 담당한 경험이 있는 분
- 테스크 정리가 명확하고, 우선순위를 나누고, 팀원의 역량에 맞게끔 테스크를 배정할 수 있는 분
- Nuke와 Maya에 대한 전문 지식이 있는 분
- 3ds Max, Photoshop, Zbrush 작업 경험이 있는 분
- 애니메이션 파운데이션이 좋은 분 : acting, staging, posing, weight, timing, storytelling, and staying on model
- 카메라와 레이아웃에 대한 높은 이해도가 있으신 분 ( framing, perspective, lenses, coverage, continuity, camera movement, blocking, etc)
- 애니메이션의 원리에 대한 이해도가 있고, 뛰어난 예술적 감각이 있으신 분
- 액션 위주의 작업과 프리비즈 경력이 있으신 분
- 카메라 애니메이션 작업 경험이 있으신 분 (laying out shots, staging, using film cameras or on-set)
- 어떤 프로젝트에도 문제없이 잘 적응하고 좋은 태도를 지닌 분
- 신체의 움직임, 무게, 균형에 대한 높은 이해도가 있는 미술 분야의 경험이 있는 분
- 인간과 동물 해부학에 대한 지식과 인체 소묘 경험이 있으신 분
- 기술적 문제를 해결하고 팀과 후속 조치를 통해 애니메이션이 잘 표현될 수 있게 팀을 잘 도울 수 있으신 분
