Role Overview

As APAC Head of Preqin Sales, you will lead the charge in transforming market opportunities into measurable commercial success. This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned professional who thrives on driving revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, and influencing the future of alternative investments across Asia-Pacific. You will not only set the vision but also build and empower a world-class sales organization to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial strategy: Define and execute Preqin’s growth agenda across APAC, accelerating revenue and deepening market penetration.
  • Lead a high-performing team: Build, coach, and inspire a regional sales organization with clear goals, accountability, and a culture of excellence.
  • Drive strategic partnerships: Secure enterprise-level deals with leading asset managers, private equity firms, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure investors, investment banks, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds.
  • Influence at the highest level: Engage C-suite executives and global stakeholders to align priorities, shape strategy, and deliver results.
  • Design market playbooks: Develop go-to-market strategies and territory plans tailored to APAC’s diverse markets.
  • Represent industry leadership: Position Preqin and BlackRock as thought leaders through executive engagements, conferences, and industry forums.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven commercial leadership: Track record of driving regional sales growth and delivering strong financial outcomes across APAC.
  • Executive presence: Ability to manage complex C-suite relationships and influence decision-making in global matrix organizations.
  • Team builder: Skilled in hiring, coaching, and retaining top talent while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Strategic mindset: Expertise in market segmentation, territory planning, and ROI-driven execution.
  • Industry depth: Deep understanding of alternative assets and markets across APAC (e.g., Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, China, India).
  • Global perspective: Ability to navigate cultural nuances and regulatory environments across diverse markets.
  • Experience: 15+ years in B2B/enterprise sales, with at least 5+ years of leadership experience ideally in APAC.
