This role is for an APM in IP Development at Papergames, based in Shanghai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IP peripheral derivative product development projects, from demand and planning to production and acceptance. This includes understanding the full design and development lifecycle, optimizing processes, coordinating cross-departmental resources, and managing project progress, cost, and quality. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and over 3 years of project management experience, with a focus on consumer products or IP derivatives. Strong communication, teamwork, and a detail-oriented, results-driven approach are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Job Description

1. Responsible for the internal and external management of IP peripheral derivative product development projects under Papergames, organizing and executing the entire process from demand, planning, production, to acceptance;

2. Deeply understand the entire process of derivative product design and development, understand team status and project requirements, design resource status, and assist in the planning and allocation of design resources;

3. Conduct process management and continuous optimization based on current team and project development needs, follow up and promote project progress, and regularly review and summarize;

4. Organize and preside over various design project-related meetings (e.g., Kick-off, design review, progress synchronization, problem-solving meetings, etc.) to ensure efficient information synchronization and decision-making;

5. Actively coordinate resources from all parties, resolve obstacles and conflicts in cross-departmental collaboration, promote problem-solving, and ensure that all relevant departments have a clear and consistent understanding of design progress, requirements, and deliverables;

6. Responsible for communicating and managing internal and external development and production progress, costs, and quality;

7. Assist the design supervisor in quantitative management of internal and external team efficiency.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, with over 3 years of project management experience, focusing on product design and development, consumer product development, or project management for related products such as trendy toys, toys, IP derivatives;

2. Familiar with project management skills, including overall project planning, project estimation and planning, project status monitoring and control, risk management, change management, and overall project status reporting (weekly/monthly/quarterly);

3. Deeply understand the entire process of design, development, proofing, and production of peripheral derivatives and consumer goods;

4. Detail-oriented and results-driven, with keen insight into project details, aiming to deliver high-quality results;

5. Good communication and collaboration skills, strong stress resistance, excellent teamwork spirit, adaptable to a fast-paced work environment;

6. Proactive, self-motivated, team-oriented, and responsible;

7. PMP certificate or Scrum Master certification preferred;

8. Passionate about games, with experience working with well-known IP collaborations, toy companies, or trendy brands preferred.
