Job Summary

Job Description

Perform semiconductor design engineering duties including design, development, and testing for firm products and devices for the electronic communications industry. Lead product architecture definition for pressure sensor devices, develop engineering requirements, test, and validation plans. Collaborate with ASIC and MEMS design teams, validate definitions via modeling, and support failure analysis. Drive new design wins by assessing IC development tradeoffs, with 5% travel required.
Must have:
  • Perform semiconductor design engineering duties including design, development, and testing for firm products and devices.
  • Lead product architecture definition for portfolio of pressure sensor devices.
  • Develop engineering requirements specifications, test, validation plans for sensor products.
  • Work with Tier-A auto manufacturers and OEMs.
  • Establish new hardware architecture and software system for sensor products.
  • Collaborate with ASIC and MEMS design teams to translate requirements into design and product specifications.
  • Validate the definition during the resilicon design phase via modeling.
  • Support rigorous failure/root cause analysis on pressure sensor and system.
  • Drive new design wins for new products by assessing and negotiating IC development tradeoffs.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in job offered, Applications and SDK Engineer, Systems Engineer or closely related occupation.
  • Experience in C for MCUs (S08, 32-bit ARM).
  • Experience in Wireless communication protocols (sub-GHz, BLE, Sigfox).
  • Experience in Wired communication protocols (SPI, I2C, SENT).
  • Experience in Software validation (unit and integration tests).
  • Experience in Algorithms.
  • Experience in Sensor data processing.

Job Description:

Perform semiconductor design engineering duties including design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Responsible for leading product architecture definition for portfolio of pressure sensor devices. Develop engineering requirements specifications, test, validation plans for sensor products while working with Tier-A auto manufacturers and OEMs. Establish new hardware architecture and software system for sensor products, taking such products from concept to production. Collaborate with ASIC and MEMS design teams to translate requirements into design and product specifications. Validate the definition during the resilicon design phase via modeling and support rigorous failure/root cause analysis on pressure sensor and system. Drive new design wins for new products by assessing and negotiating IC development tradeoffs. 5% of travel required to visit customers in the USA, Europe or China primarily.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.

Three (3) years of experience in job offered, Applications and SDK Engineer, Systems Engineer or closely related occupation.

Required skills:

Position requires three (3) years of experience in:
