The Art Department Director will lead the art organization for Candy Crush Soda Saga, guiding a diverse team of artists across all disciplines. This role involves defining art strategy, managing processes, planning work, ensuring delivery excellence, and improving workflows. The director will also communicate and align with other departments and champion the art craft in strategic discussions, ultimately shaping the game's visual experience for millions of players.

  • Experienced art or creative leader with a track record of leading large, multidisciplinary teams in games or creative production.
  • Strong people leader — great at coaching, developing others, and building high-performing, happy teams.
  • Organisationally sharp and strategically minded; you connect long-term vision with day-to-day delivery.
  • Excellent communicator who builds trust and clarity across teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Brings a solid creative background and understanding of art workflows in mobile game development.

Job Description

We’re looking for an Art Department Director to lead the art organisation behind one of the world’s most iconic mobile games - Candy Crush Soda Saga. Together with your team, you’ll be responsible for the Art of the game, how it looks, feels, and comes to life for hundreds of millions of players. You’ll guide the people, processes, and structure that enable Soda’s Art department to deliver high-quality, joyful, and consistent experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with the creative directors, art leads, product managers, designers, and other partners to ensure the art organisation is empowered, aligned, and set up for long-term success.

What You’ll Do
