Job Description

You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling assembly parts, as well as having the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the operations in an industrial setting. You will make a difference by being a team player and have great listening and communication skills. Your typical day will involve assisting in 5s and cleaning, helping with quality and production issues, assembling, testing, and inspecting equipment, working with electrical and mechanical equipment, troubleshooting and repairing, maintaining equipment, moving materials, and adhering to safety rules.
Must have:
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Possess the ability to use tools and equipment for assembly operations
  • Have good listening and communication skills
  • Able to work well with others to be a good team player
  • Able to work 1st shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly range for this role is between $18.50+ an hour.

The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Assist in daily 5s and cleaning procedures.
  • Assists others in obtaining solutions to quality and production issues.
  • Other duties as may be required or assigned.
  • Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes
  • Work with electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
  • Maintain assembly and test equipment as required
  • Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an indoor manufacturing environment. The employee will work in areas exposed to production activities including but not limited to production machinery, assembly operations, overhead crane usage, and forklift traffic. The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to workplace hazards.

While performing the duties of this class, the employee is regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information, and documents; analyze and solve problems; use math and mathematical reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills, and interact with other employees, customers, and vendors.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
