Must Have

Associate Director Canada Marketing WL: 2B JOB PURPOSE Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is the food service division of Unilever, a global, branded, powerhouse focusing on delivering products and solutions to Chefs across operator groups in over 70 countries. Our brands, products and full-service offering provide solutions to our operators to meet the demands of this fast-paced industry, and we do this through close collaboration across sales, culinary and marketing. The Operator Marketing team plays a critical role in this collaboration and has end-to-end responsibility in understanding the key operator group insights, identifying the pain points, and designing value-added solutions that results in growth for our customers and our business.

Operator and Trade Marketing demand the ability to translate operator and diner insights into actionable, end-to-end marketing strategies, from designing solutions to executing them in the marketplace. Key responsibilities include customizing brand campaigns, developing sales tools, collaborating with culinary teams for menu inspiration, managing and owning category Canada specific P&Ls, understanding our competitive share standing and creating targeted digital content to generate demand. The person must excel in cross-functional teamwork, engaging directly with operators through presentations and joint business planning, and be accountable for delivering business targets aligned with operator needs. Success in this role hinges on strong analytical skills, project management, and proficiency with systems like Salesforce.com and Power BI. You will be guided to leverage data-driven insights, foster collaboration, and maintain a relentless focus on delivering value to both operators and the business, ensuring all marketing activities are strategically aligned and measurable. Understand trade or customer marketing to ensure plans by customer/ channels bring the best ROI.
