Job Description

Publicis Sapient is seeking an Associate Director Product Management with strong retail and POS expertise to join their LATAM team in San Jose, Costa Rica. This role involves driving a point-of-sale transformation program for a large retailer, collaborating with client stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and designers. The individual will define, prioritize, and deliver solutions to modernize POS systems, conduct requirements discovery, manage product backlogs, and ensure feature readiness from discovery through release.
Must have:
  • Partner with client and internal teams to assess current POS challenges, conduct requirement archaeology, and define scope gaps and priorities.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, translating requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize stories, ensuring sprint readiness and alignment to business objectives.
  • Participate in end-to-end delivery from discovery through release, ensuring feature readiness and smooth execution.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to align priorities, unblock issues, and deliver value.
  • Balance competing requirements, business value, and technical feasibility to shape the roadmap.
  • Act as a bridge across geographies, ensuring consistent communication, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in retail.
  • Strong foundation in product management best practices (roadmaps, OKRs, backlog management, discovery techniques).
  • Experience working with POS systems and retail operations.
  • Proven ability to work in large, complex organizations and navigate multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth analyses of requirements.
  • Experience in defining and prioritizing scope in multi-phase programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading end-to-end product delivery (from discovery to launch).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills across business and technical teams.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) with ability to work seamlessly across LATAM and global teams.

  • Knowledge of omnichannel retail strategies (store, e-commerce, app, marketplace).
  • Exposure to digital transformation programs and working with consultancy-style environments.

Associate Director Product Management

We are seeking a Product Manager with strong retail and POS expertise to join our LATAM team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving a point-of-sale transformation program for one of the region’s largest retailers. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, Publicis Sapient product team, engineers, and designers to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions that modernize the POS

This role requires someone who can work across geographies, conduct deep requirements discovery, and create clarity in complex environments. You will be hands-on in the assessment phase, shaping the scope, building a backlog, and ensuring feature readiness throughout execution.

Your Impact

Qualifications
