Job Summary
Quest Global is seeking an Associate Quality Engineer to gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering data, ensuring part/process quality. This role involves interacting with multiple computer systems, spotting discrepancies, and collaborating with team leaders and peers. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with Aero-Engine OEMs, and possess strong technical skills in Quality Management Systems, non-conformance management, and data extraction from MRP/ERP systems like SAP. The position is full-time and on-site in Asheville, NC.
Must Have
- Gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data
- Ensure part/process quality are achieved and sustained
- Interact with multiple computer systems / software
- Spot discrepancies in information or processing of information and take appropriate actions
- Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers
- Minimum 3+ years relevant to role experience
- Relevant experience in: Quality Management System, Part Qualification (QA), Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development)
- Advanced Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook user
- Entering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system
- Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks
- Familiarity with gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MRO
- Read Engineering prints and comprehend associated Quality Requirements
- Gaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, SPC, etc)
- Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments

What You will Do:
- Primarily gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part/process quality are achieved and sustained. Efforts support/conveyed to others. Work can be connected to either Part Qualification Requirements assurance and/or Non-Conforming Material evaluations.

What You Will Bring:
- Minimum 3+ years relevant to role experience
- Alternate: 10+ years relevant to role with no / non-tech degree
- Experience with Aero-Engine OEMs (highly noteworthy)
- Other Technical Certifications (noteworthy)
- AS-Technical Degree

Pay Range: $50,000-60,000 USD – 1st shift Full-Time hourly role.
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and other incentives.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Asheville, NC, USA
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, minimal additional travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
