Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer who is proactive, detail-oriented, and a fast learner to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side code for mobile games, primarily in PHP. The developer will analyze and eliminate bottlenecks, contribute to new game features, and collaborate within an Agile team, working with technologies like SQL, Jenkins, HTML, JS, React, and Python.

Must Have

• Design, implement, and maintain server-side code for a mobile game, primarily written in PHP.
• Analyze, identify, and eliminate bottlenecks and errors on the server-side.
• Contribute to the development of new/innovative game play features and interfaces.
• Follow Agile methodologies to collaborate effectively within the team.
• Git proficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex server-side issues.
• Strong documentation skills for code, processes, and system architecture.
• Strong collaborative and proactive mindset with a sense of ownership.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a dynamic game development environment.

Good to Have

• PHP experience (advantage)
• Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
