Job Description

Nissan is seeking a Bilingual Collections Representative for their Mississauga team. The role involves making collection calls, sending correspondence for overdue accounts, and arranging payments to bring accounts current. Responsibilities include providing customer service for collection issues and account discrepancies, finalizing and verifying vendor invoices, maintaining communication with customers, dealers, and internal teams to reduce delinquency, and identifying accounts requiring further research or skip tracing. The ideal candidate will have a university degree (preferred), fluency in French and English, 1+ years of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication, multitasking, analytical, and detail-oriented skills. Eligibility to work in Canada is required as Nissan does not provide sponsorships.
Must have:

We are currently looking for a Bilingual Collections Representative to join our team in Mississauga.

A Day in the Life:

  • Make collection calls and send correspondence for accounts past due more than 5 days; arrange payment to bring accounts current.

  • Provide customer service related to collection issues and account discrepancies.

  • Finalize and verify vendor invoices once approved by supervisors.

  • Maintain communication with customers, dealers, and internal teams to reduce delinquency.

  • Identify accounts requiring additional research or skip tracing and take timely action.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • University degree preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • Fluency in French and English is required (both written and verbal).

  • 1+ years of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable learning new systems.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong multi-tasking ability, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada, as NCI does not provide sponsorships.

Desired:

  • Experience handling high-volume collection calls and inquiries.

  • Knowledge of skip tracing and investigative account research.

  • Previous exposure to vendor invoice verification and reconciliation.

  • Familiarity with quality and compliance standards in a collections environment.
