Job Description
ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for a Business Analyst for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian health insurance domain.
Context
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the development and innovation of applications within the Affiliation domain. Your passion for data and IT solutions will help bridge business needs with the most suitable technological answers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision
- Clarifying business needs and ensuring optimal alignment between application features and business processes.
- Connecting development requirements with both current and future application architecture, developing and maintaining a vision for applications.
- Contributing to business plans for investment projects.
- Improving the efficiency, usability, and accuracy of applications.
- Promoting strategic imperatives by simplifying access and increasing transparency for members.
- Excellence in Execution
- Analyzing data, test, evaluate, and continuously improving applications.
- Ensuring optimal functional analysis, including the right features for software applications.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders, engaging them in solution-finding.
- Collaborate with agile teams both within and outside your domain for effective communication and alignment.
- Work closely with other business analysts and specialists in the Affiliation department.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues using technical language to achieve common goals.
- Define business expectations for IT processes and ensure a holistic approach.
- Identify synergies among complex work processes.
- You will join a team of 25 colleagues working in sub-teams across four clusters: knowledge management, international conventions, member management, personal data management, and registrations & changes in the Affiliation domain.
Qualifications
Your Profile
- Multilingual communication skills (French & Dutch).
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Willingness to learn about the affiliation domain (prior knowledge would be considered an asset).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Quality-oriented, precise, and logical mindset.
- Results-driven, proactive, dynamic, stress-resistant, and adaptable in setting priorities.
- Eager to learn and naturally agile, ready to embrace scrum methodology.
- Good command of the other national language (French/Dutch).
- Key interpersonal skills: positive influence, decision-making, assertiveness (including the ability to say no when necessary), and the ability to align and orchestrate different viewpoints.
Technical Skills
- Experience in business analysis, particularly in aligning business needs with IT solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, especially scrum.
- Ability to analyze, test, and improve IT applications.
- Comfortable working with IT teams and using technical jargon.
- Experience in managing complex processes and identifying synergies across workflows.
