Job Summary

Arηs Group, part of Accenture, is seeking experienced Java developers for a client in Brussels, a key player in mutual insurance. The role involves joining agile teams to digitalize and automate administrative document processing related to indemnity reimbursements within the replacement income domain. Responsibilities include analyzing system integrations, implementing user stories, communicating with stakeholders, participating in technical refinements, considering non-functional requirements, collaborating with infrastructure for deployments, and documenting developments. Senior roles also involve supporting junior colleagues, contributing to CI/CD test strategy, and guiding technical choices.

Must Have

Job Description

Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, is looking for experienced Java developers for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the mutual insurance sector.

Context

As part of the "Automation" investment project, two agile teams are being formed to digitize and automate the processing of administrative documents related to the reimbursement of indemnities. Candidates will join the replacement income domain and work on projects focused on End-to-End digitalization and process automation.

Role & Responsibilities

Java Engineer Medior

  • Analyze integrations with other organizational systems (infrastructure, other development teams, etc.)
  • Implement "user stories" and "tasks" correctly and qualitatively
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders (team members, PO, architects, etc.)
  • Actively participate in refinements to propose relevant technical solutions
  • Take into account non-functional requirements (performance, user experience, etc.)
  • Collaborate with infrastructure to efficiently deploy applications
  • Document developments and the technical architecture of applications

Java Engineer Senior

  • All responsibilities of the Medior level
  • Support Medior and Junior colleagues (peer-programming, technical advice, etc.)
  • Contribute to an effective testing strategy (CI/CD)
  • Guide the team towards the best technical choices and encourage good practices (code-review, peer-programming, etc.)

Qualifications

Your profile
