Job Summary
Arηs Group, part of Accenture, is seeking experienced Java developers for a client in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian health insurance sector. The roles are within two agile teams focused on the end-to-end digitalization and automation of administrative documents in the benefits process, specifically in the replacement income domain. Responsibilities include analyzing system integrations, implementing user stories, communicating with stakeholders, participating in refinements, considering non-functional requirements, collaborating with infrastructure, and documenting developments. Senior roles also involve supporting colleagues and contributing to test strategy and technical guidance.
Must Have
- Good knowledge of French or Dutch, with a good understanding of the other national language
- Professional knowledge of English
- Team player, open-minded, enjoys collaborating and coordinating with other project teams

Context
Within the "Automation" investment project, two agile teams are being formed to achieve end-to-end digitalization and automation of administrative documents in the benefits process. Candidates will join the replacement income domain and work on projects focused on digitalization and automation.
Role & Responsibilities
Java Engineer Medior
- Analyze integrations with other systems within the organization (infrastructure, other development teams…)
- Correct and qualitative implementation of "user stories" and "tasks"
- Efficiently communicate with various stakeholders (team members, PO, architecture…)
- Actively participate in refinements and propose relevant technical improvements
- Take into account non-functional requirements (performance, user experience…)
- Collaborate with infrastructure for efficient application deployment
- Document developments and technical architecture of applications
Java Engineer Senior
- All responsibilities of the Medior level
- Support Medior and Junior colleagues (peer-programming, technical advice…)
- Contribute to an effective test strategy (CI/CD)
- Guide the team towards the best technical choices and encourage good development and collaboration practices (code-review, peer-programming…)
Job Requirements
Your profile
