Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Business Consultant to join their Strategic Sales team. In this role, you will provide expert insights and support in pre-sales and sales engagements with key clients, helping them leverage D&B's solutions to unlock their full potential. You will guide businesses through complex decision-making processes and deliver tangible value. Responsibilities include acting as a financial risk expert, leading client engagements, building client trust through deep expertise, presenting insights to C-suite executives, driving high-value deals, developing solution designs, supporting post-sales phases, staying updated on industry changes and regulations, collaborating with product teams for innovation, and supporting go-to-market activities. The role requires a proactive, ownership mindset and a drive for continuous learning and collaboration.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in data and data-driven processes
  • Experience managing financial risk of suppliers or customers
  • Understanding of financial KPIs and Ratios
  • Strong analytical and large dataset skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-suite
  • Strong problem-solving and convincing abilities
  • Proactive ownership mindset and continuous learning
  • Fluency in English and German
Good to have:
  • Expertise in API Integration
  • Fluency in Hungarian

About the Role

As a Business Consultant, you’ll work closely with our Strategic Sales team to provide expert insights, direction, and support in pre-sales and sales engagements with our largest clients. You'll help businesses unlock the full potential of our solutions, guiding them through complex decision-making processes and delivering real value.


Key Responsibilities

  • Join the D&B Central Europe Risk & Compliance Consulting Team as customer financial risk expert. 
  • Lead strategic client engagements, supporting sales efforts and closing deals.
  • Build trust with clients by showcasing deep expertise in our data, products and solutions.
  • Present insights and recommendations confidently to C-suite executives.
  • Drive complex, high-value deals and identify new strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver solution designs that align with client needs, regulations and market trends.
  • Accompanying customers in the post-sales phase with support on how D&B Data can be transformed into decisions.
  • Stay ahead of industry changes, market sentiment, and regulatory updates.
  • Collaborate with product teams to influence innovation and enhance offerings.
  • Support go-to-market (GTM) activities, including whitepapers, webinars, and thought leadership.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and craft winning strategies.
  • Represent the company in industry groups, shaping best practices and thought leadership.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in data and data driven processes.
  • Experience in managing financial risk of suppliers or customers.
  • Understanding of financial KPI´s and Ratios.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-suite audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and convincing abilities.
  • A proactive, ownership mindset with a drive for continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Expertise in API Integration is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and German language (Hungarian is a plus).
