Job Summary
SS8 Networks is seeking a Business Development Manager for the APAC region to identify, develop, and close business opportunities with government agencies. This role requires a strong understanding of government procurement processes, the ability to build collaborative relationships, and navigate complex international markets. The manager will be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline, preparing proposals, and cultivating strategic relationships to help make societies safer through lawful and location intelligence solutions.
Must Have
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government agencies in key customers within the region.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and deliver against quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Develop deep knowledge of government procurement policies, bidding processes, and compliance requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and government meetings.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and tailor offerings to meet unique government customer needs.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and RFI/RFP responses.
- Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with key government stakeholders, partners, and consultants.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform go-to-market strategies.
- 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience selling to international governments or public sector clients.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex, high-value B2G sales environments.
- Deep understanding of international government procurement, tendering, and contracting processes.
- Effective negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with Law Enforcement and Government Intelligence agencies.
- Experience working throughout APAC countries.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
- Fluency in English.

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government agencies in key customers within the region.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and deliver against quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Develop deep knowledge of government procurement policies, bidding processes, and compliance requirements.
