What does a CGI Senior Lead Automotive Lighting Artist do at Hogarth?
The CGI Senior Lead Automotive Lighting artist will be essential in creating exceptional visual content for our automotive clients, leveraging the latest 3D software and techniques. This role involves mentoring other artists, overseeing daily operations alongside CGI leads, managing projects, communicating with clients and troubleshooting their needs. Excel in lighting automotive products, consistently achieving high-fidelity results.
Responsibilities

- Communicating with clients and building strong relationships with partner agency Art Directors.
- Reviewing work and troubleshooting client requirements
- Be involved in improving production pipelines.
Reporting lines and key stakeholders
This role reports to CGI Lighting Supervisor and will work closely with all our global CGI teams.
Requirements
- Use industry standard 3d software (Houdini/Max/v-ray) to light and render master-models from our automotive clients.
- Mastery of studio lighting using HDRi techniques as well as full HDRi environment lighting.
- Understand and work with our in-house pipe team to help with complex 3d and USD files to organize, render and output any content the client needs
- Be able to use Photoshop to a high standard to enhance the work created.
- Understand and follow all production workflows and procedures, ensuring all assets produced meet the required specification through quality checks.
- Have an exceptional eye for detail and good CGI generalist knowledge
