KRAFTON seeks an M&A Specialist Lead for its Chairman’s Office, specifically within the New Frontier Team. This team is responsible for strategic business diversification, including investigating relevant fields, identifying and evaluating potential investment/acquisition targets, and executing M&A deals. The role involves assisting the Chairman with long-term growth opportunities, social contribution initiatives, and various special projects. It offers a unique chance to develop entrepreneurial capabilities by engaging directly with the Chairman, leveraging KRAFTON's global brand and resources to drive successful growth.
Must have:
  • Investigate relevant fields and identify potential investment/acquisition targets or new business opportunities based on internal/external understanding.
  • Establish precise investment/acquisition theses, persuade internal/external stakeholders, and proactively drive related new businesses.
  • Review various growth and social contribution opportunities raised internally and externally.
  • Execute projects related to the Chairman's key duties and perform assigned tasks.
  • Manage the team as a team leader.
  • Handle post-acquisition PMI and management of the acquired company.

  • Proactive experience in new business and investment/M&A projects (new business planning, investment due diligence, PMI).
  • Experience in corporate operations as a member of company management.
  • Experience in management consulting.
  • Experience in a leadership role.

Job Details

Introducing Our Team (Project)

  • The Chairman’s Office is a direct organization under the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KRAFTON Inc., responsible for promoting and managing tasks related to the Chairman.
  • The New Frontier Team, an organization within the Chairman’s Office, primarily focuses on investigating relevant fields, discovering and reviewing potential investment/acquisition targets, and driving investments/acquisitions as part of the company's strategy and business diversification. The team autonomously proposes projects or selects potential targets from internal/external sources to initiate discovery/review. The team is planned to consist of 3-5 members with relevant capabilities and experience who share the vision, and the team leader will also serve as the organizational head.
  • After an acquisition, the team leader will become a member of the acquired company's top management or an executive, responsible for all activities related to the operation and value enhancement of the acquired company.
  • In addition to strategy and business diversification, this team assists the Chairman of the Board in reviewing mid-to-long-term growth opportunities or social contribution opportunities that current operations may not focus on, and also performs various projects and assigned tasks related to the Chairman.
  • This position offers an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial capabilities through open discussions about various growth opportunities with Chairman Jang Byung-gyu, a "serial entrepreneur" who has successfully founded multiple companies.   • Investment Appraisal @ Venture Capital
  • Start-up
  • Business fluent English proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver feedback to relevant departments.
  • No disqualification for overseas travel.
