Claims Consultant

We are seeking a candidate to join our Carrier Relationship Management team at Marsh FIJI in the role of Claims Consultant. This role will be based in our Suva office.

This role is integral to the delivery of claims management services to our clients. You will handle a portfolio of general insurance claims, motor and accidental claims.

We will count on you to:

• Manage end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Motor and Accidental claims.
• Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with various third parties;
• Build and maintain rapport with clients;
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and reinsurers.

What you need to have:

• Must have current or previous experience in end to end claims management
• Good written and oral communication skills;
• A strong customer service approach;
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.

What makes you stand out:

The following, while not required, would be highly regarded:

• Previous experience managing motor / accidental claims;
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Law, Business/Commerce, or in Loss Adjusting
• Previous client facing experience.
