Job Details

As a client engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our mobile clients. You will work closely with our software engineering and product teams to create and implement security measures that protect our mobile clients from potential threats and you will report to a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Director.

Job location: You will work in Shanghai.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and implement security protocols for mobile applications.

  • You will collaborate with software engineers to ensure the integration of security into all phases of software development.

  • You will implement encryption and secure data storage solutions.

  • You will document any security breaches and assess their damage.

  • You will develop new tools and improve existing ones based on our existing toolchain.

  • You will communicate with game designers and artists, ensuring that program functionality aligns with design requirements.

  • You will collaborate with QA to identify defects and conduct internal testing, public testing, and acceptance testing for official release versions.

  • You will communicate project progress and risks to superiors promptly.

Qualifications

  • Over 3-5 years of experience in game client development. Proficiency in C++, and programming and debugging skills related to relevant tools.

  • Experience in Android and iOS platform development and debugging.

  • Proficiency in mobile platform application security (iOS, Android).

  • Understanding of network protocols and data encryption.

  • Logical thinking and good programming habits.

  • Pretty good at communication and ability to collaborate within a team.
