Job Description

The Cloud Systems Administrator manages, deploys, and maintains NICE CXone's production systems, virtualization, SAN, Public Cloud, and supporting environments. This role involves administering Windows Domain and Active Directory, deploying Windows Server 2019, ensuring server security, managing lab and production infrastructure including SAN, monitoring server performance, documenting environments, and handling Linux server installations and public cloud deployments. The administrator ensures system stability, security, and performance while leading projects and coordinating with teams.

Must Have:
  • Administer Windows Domain and Active Directory setups.
  • Deploy and maintain Windows Server 2019 across servers.
  • Ensure server and file security standards are established and maintained.
  • Manage both lab and production infrastructure, including physical storage like SAN.
  • Monitor and optimize server performance, including virtualization environments.
  • Thoroughly document environment setups and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and parts replacement.
  • Handle Linux server installations, public cloud compute, and storage deployments, as well as enterprise-grade physical compute infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in VMware and Public Cloud Environments oversight.
  • Microsoft server-related certification (MCSA) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years managing Server 2012 R2 or Server 2019 environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying Windows domains, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Minimum 2 years managing and deploying virtual environments.
  • Minimum 2 years managing and deploying Windows Server 2019.
  • Experience installing and configuring physical server hardware and operating systems.

The role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of systems while supporting project initiatives and coordinating with various teams for successful project execution.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficiency in VMware and Public Cloud Environments oversight.
  • Microsoft server-related certification (MCSA) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years managing Server 2012 R2 or Server 2019 environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying Windows domains, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Minimum 2 years managing and deploying virtual environments.
  • Minimum 2 years managing and deploying Windows Server 2019.
  • Experience installing and configuring physical server hardware and operating systems is essential.
  • Strong ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines, with collaborative skills within IT teams, and familiarity with Change Management processes are advantageous.

You will have an advantage if you also have:
