Job Summary

Ubisoft IT is seeking a Security Analyst for the Game Security Services team within the Security and Risk Management (SRM) department. The role focuses on implementing security best practices and requirements to ensure games are developed securely and protected from cheats and piracy. Responsibilities include enforcing anti-cheat/anti-piracy standards, raising security awareness, managing security assessments, identifying risks, and defining project-specific security standards.

Must Have

  • Ensure anti-cheat and anti-piracy standards are followed
  • Raise production awareness regarding game security program
  • Communicate security issues to stakeholders
  • Develop understanding of production team decision-making
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure proper scheduling, scoping, and follow-ups of security assessments
  • Identify potential risks, propose mitigations, and ensure remediation
  • Perform security evaluations (architecture reviews, risk analysis, security opinions)
  • Define and draft project-specific security standards and processes
  • Answer questions regarding IT Security in production environments
  • Produce and maintain documentation related to project security
  • Good IT and security technical fundamentals
  • Experience in developing corporate policies and guidelines
  • Experience in implementing security measures
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical and business concepts
  • Ability to draft clear and well-structured documentation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux/Unix operating systems

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ubisoft IT is looking for a Security Analyst to join the Game Security Services team which is part of the Security and Risk Management (SRM) department. This team’s main mission is to drive the implementation of proper security best practices and security requirements to ensure games are developed in a secure manner in addition to shipping free of cheats and piracy.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that anti-cheat and anti-piracy standards in the game security program are thoroughly followed;
  • Raise production awareness regarding the Ubisoft game security program;
  • Communicate security issues and raise awareness among the project’s stakeholders;
  • Develop a deep understanding of the production’s team decision-making process to maximize the positive influence;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support the decision-making process that could impact Ubisoft’s security posture;
  • Ensure the proper scheduling, scoping, and follow-ups of security assessments;
  • Identify potential or realized risks, propose mitigations and ensure remediation measures are followed;
  • Perform various security evaluations such as architecture reviews, risk analysis, and security opinions while focusing on game production and its online environment;
  • Define and draft project-specific security standards and processes;
  • Answer questions regarding IT Security in production environments;
  • Produce and maintain various documentation related to evolving project security stance;

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good IT and security technical fundamentals;
  • Experience in developing corporate policies and guidelines;
  • Experience in implementing security measures;
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical and business concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders of varied technical competence;
  • Ability to draft clear and well-structured documentation;
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft and Linux/Unix operating systems.
