Job Summary
Thales provides and supports air traffic management and protection systems. The role involves defining service architectures and preparing associated quotes within the Architecture department of LAS Customer Worldwide Services (CWS). The architect will support Bid teams for Acquisition or Support tenders for French and export clients, and assist in developing new products with a service-oriented approach. This includes collecting requirements, building solutions, drafting technical proposals, managing risks, and coordinating contributors.
Must Have
- Define service architectures and prepare associated quotes
- Support Bid teams on Acquisition or Support tenders for Services
- Support new product development with a Services perspective
- Collect client requirements, internal needs, and applicable service commitments
- Formulate hypotheses, consolidate their credibility, and ensure consistency
- Specify Service requirements for products and monitor implementation with engineering teams
- Build service solutions and offers
- Draft technical proposals, compliance matrices, and client presentations
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities, establish action plans
- Promote innovative services and develop digital continuity
- Coordinate contributors
- Monitor project execution, gather feedback, and organize continuous improvement
- Experience in service activities (hardware and software support, MCO/MCS)
- Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Experience in building technical and commercial proposals
- Experience in developing Digital, software or Cyber services or data valorization
- Experience in transversal coordination of multi-disciplinary working groups
- Customer-oriented with a recognized analytical mind
- Holder of a BAC+5 degree

Your daily life
We provide and support systems for air traffic management and protection. We work with passion in a modern architectural framework, striving to push the boundaries of technology in our key sectors. South of Paris, our site is easily accessible by public transport.
In the Architecture department of LAS Customer Worldwide Services (CWS), within a team of about fifteen people spread across several sites, you will be responsible for defining service architectures and preparing associated quotes.
As part of your missions, you will support Bid teams on Acquisition or Support tenders for Services to French and export clients; and you will also support the development of new products with a Services perspective.
As such, depending on the nature of the systems and the complexity of the contexts, you may be able to:
- Lead the collection of client requirements, internal needs, and applicable service commitments
- Formulate hypotheses, consolidate their credibility, ensure their consistency
- Specify Service requirements for products and monitor their implementation with engineering teams
- Build service solutions and offers
- Draft technical proposals, compliance matrices, and client presentations
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities, establish action plans
- Promote innovative services and develop digital continuity
- Coordinate contributors
- Monitor project execution, gather feedback, organize continuous improvement
Occasional travel to the Parisian and Orléans regions is to be expected, and potentially some missions in France or abroad.
As such, you will work in close collaboration with the teams: Pre-sales Offers, technical direction, Engineering (system, hardware, software, and subcontractors), Purchasing, Industrialization, Customer Contact and Support, methods, and test benches.
Your profile
Holder of a BAC+5 degree, you have experience and skills in:
- Service activities, such as hardware and software support, MCO/MCS;
- Integrated Logistics Support (ILS);
- Construction of technical and commercial proposals;
- Development of Digital, software or Cyber services or data valorization;
- Transversal coordination of multi-disciplinary working groups.
