Job Summary

Joining Thales Global Services (TGS) in Meudon, within the Group's Industrial Directorate, the Mechanical department supports Group entities in the industrialization of assembly processes, particularly in the context of Industry 4.0, and in the creation and updating of technical standards. This internship fully integrates into the department's activities, providing support for formalizing operating procedures, structuring technical specifications, and capitalizing on best practices. You will participate in the implementation of high-performance and high-value-added assembly processes for complex parts and systems to meet the Group's industrialization challenges.

Must Have

  • Prepare an engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+4/5) with a specialization in industrialization / Robotics
  • Be autonomous
  • Have the ability to analyze and synthesize, both in writing and orally
  • Proficiency in English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of assembly processes such as screwing and gluing
  • Knowledge in robotics and automation

By joining us in Meudon, you will be part of the Thales Group headquarters located on the banks of the Seine and organized as a true campus, bringing together our digital identity and security activities, among others.

Within Thales Global Services (TGS) and reporting to the Group's Industrial Directorate, the Mechanical department's mission is to support Group entities in the industrialization of assembly processes, particularly in the context of Industry 4.0, as well as in the creation and updating of technical standards.

In this context, the internship is fully integrated into the department's activities, providing support for the formalization of operating procedures, the structuring of technical specifications, and the capitalization of best practices.

You will participate in the implementation missions of high-performance and high-value-added assembly processes for complex parts and systems, with the aim of meeting the Group's industrialization challenges:

You will contribute to the evaluation and implementation of robotic/cobotic assembly equipment (screwing, crimping, riveting, gluing, etc.):

Participate in the qualification and implementation of processes:

  • Participate in process qualification tests (screwing, gluing)
  • Write reports and capitalize on best practices
  • Develop user guides for robotic equipment (screwing, gluing cell) and test benches
  • Write associated maintenance sheets

Contribute to the creation and updating of technical specifications:

  • Review and improve existing standards
  • Participate in the creation of new specifications

Your profile:

Are you preparing an engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+4/5) with a specialization in industrialization / Robotics and are you looking for a 6-month internship?

You are autonomous and have the ability to analyze and synthesize both in writing and orally.

Do you master English?

Do you have good interpersonal skills?

Required technical skills:

  • Knowledge of assembly processes such as screwing and gluing
  • Knowledge in robotics and automation
