Job Summary
The Cobol Analyst/Developer will be responsible for maintaining and developing Cobol applications for Unisys Mainframe platforms. This includes defining functional and non-functional requirements, designing technical solutions, estimating effort and deadlines, coding, and performing unit tests. The role requires daily collaboration with the team to assess progress and risks, contribute multidisciplinarily to achieve goals, and promote good development practices and continuous improvement.

Job Description
What success looks like in this role:
- Perform maintenance and development of Cobol applications for Unisys Mainframe platforms;
- Definition of functional and non-functional requirements;
- Define technical solution, make effort and deadline estimates, ensuring delivery within the established schedule.;
- Code and perform unit tests;
- Act in daily collaboration with the team to evaluate activity progress and assess project risks, promoting a proactive approach to problem solving.;
- Contribute multidisciplinarily with the objective of helping the team achieve goals, actively participating in discussions and offering support whenever necessary;
- Collaborate with other team members to promote good software development and maintenance practices, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Knowledge and experience with application development using Cobol
- Knowledge and experience of teamwork with agile methods SCRUM or Kanban, ability to adapt to changes, incremental delivery and focus on product quality and value;
- Graduation: Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields;
- Experience with software engineering processes and system development, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance;
- Experience developing Unisys mainframe environment, COMS, DMSII, SDF, CANDE
- Knowledge in automated unit and integration tests (TDD/ATDD) in COBOL routines.
- Knowledge in BDD methodology;
- Be flexible, collaborative and proactive;
